COVID-19: Four More People Have Tested Positive for Coronavirus in Uganda.

Uganda is continuing to register new cases of corona virus despite of the measures put across to prevent it’s spread in the country.

Four more people have tested positive for the fast spreading virus bringing the total number of the country’s confirmed cases to 18.

H. E Kaguta Yoweri Museveni president of the Republic of Uganda confirms the results to the media on Friday 27th March today.

President Museveni on says the four had been under institutional quarantine in the various hotels identified by the sub-committee on quarantine.

In a statement posted on the his social media pages, the president said: “Yesterday, the 26th of March, another 197 people were tested and many of them were returnees from Dubai or other category one countries, only four tested positive. These four had been under institutional quarantine in the various hotels identified by the sub-committee on quarantine.”

According to the president, the victims have been evacuated to Mulago National Referral Hospital for further treatment.
