Bongo star Diamond Platnumz turns angel without wings as he announces his plans to pay three months house rent for 500 families that are struggling to let life go on amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
The East African boyfriend as nicknamed by ex-wife Tanasha Donna made the announcement on Instagram showing sympathy for families that could hardly put food on the table as businesses closed and hence closing the only source of income for most of these families he is targeting.
“I pretty much know that at these terrible times where we are all fighting global pandemic COVID-19,countless life circumstances have changed especially in businesses, many businesses are drowning hence rendering to financial difficulties and life becoming a little bit tough to many of us. Although I am amongst those affected by this pandemic on Economy, with the little that God has blessed me with, I have decided to atleast offer a helping hand by paying 3 Months house rent to 500 families as my kind gesture of helping one another during these terrible times of fighting COVID-19 for I believe i should share your troubles and your happiness too. Several artistes across Africa have come to stand with their people during this pandemic that has caused a major effect on the economy of the world.
Some of these African artists are, Yemi Alade, Runtown and Wizkid all from Nigeria have sent out money, donated foodstuff and arranged for help for their fans through social media.
Diamond’s plan was met with much joy and support from his fan base with many jamming his comment section to appeal for help.
However, he plans to announce the families selected for this benefit this week.
